Michael founded Softworld in 1993. As founder, he currently works with the executive team on the overall strategy, direction and goals of the firm. Michael began Softworld with a simple concept, the technology staffing world was not focused on the right thing. The primary business of technology staffing firms is to seek out great technologists, forge strong relationships with them, qualify their talents and represent them well in the marketplace in order to drive their careers with clients that need great technology professionals. Focusing on the careers of Softworld’s consultants drives satisfied consultants and clients. Michael created an environment where consultants are truly part of the Softworld team. To this day, it is at the forefront of how we do business.
He served as Softworld’s CEO for nearly a decade. Prior to founding Softworld, Michael was a consultant in application development. Working as a consultant formed many of his opinions of what Softworld needed to become.
He received his bachelor of science in business administration from Washington University.
